The Heather Unit is our specialist dementia care unit, which includes facilities such as a sunroom, balconies, sensory room, and multiple dining areas.

Our expert dementia care team undergoes regular training, including stress management, to alleviate the challenges associated with dementia. Through skilled medical care, daily activities, mental stimulation, and continuous support, we aim to enhance the quality of life of residents, regardless of their physical or mental capabilities.

Nursing Care

Our residents at Springvale Care Home have access to nursing care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so no matter how much they need our care they can rest assured they’ll receive it promptly. Our skilled staff can care for individuals with physical limitations, those who require palliative care, or those who require higher levels of dependency, as well as those who become frail as the years progress.

Each resident will be assigned a nurse who will become a familiar face to you and your family and will answer any questions or concerns you or your family may have. In the event that a particular nurse is unavailable, another member of staff will be more than happy to look after you or your loved one.
