Always Striving to Surpass Expectations
Whatever challenges the years throw at our teams and our residents, here at Springvale Care Home, we’re ready for anything. Going above and beyond is something that we here at Springvale Care Home take very seriously, and we are all determined to ensure that our residents are living the best lives they can. All of us here at Springvale Care Home put our residents first, and we will continue to do so no matter what.
It is important that meaningful contact is supported and maintained for residents. There are no limits on how often residents can receive visitors but it must remain safe and manageable for the care home staff and residents themselves and we ask that these are pre-booked. Anyone who visits a care home should take a LFD test, you will be asked to show proof of the recent negative LFD test before visiting. This includes family, friends, children over the age of 12 and visiting professionals. You may take the test at home before you visit or the home can help you to carry out the test when you arrive.
A Fluid Resistant Surgical Mask (FRSM) must be worn wherever possible, and Infection Prevention and Control measures should be followed as instructed by care home staff. Residents, family, and friends are able to plan outings or activities from the care home and are able to do by working together with the care home to arrange.
For prospective residents, to have a tour of the home, it is necessary for this to be pre-booked and for evidence of a negative LFT test to be presented prior to entering the home. This applies to all guests within your party.
At any time, the COVID-19 regulations and guidance from the Government, National and Local Healthcare Agencies may change. For further information, please click here or contact the Home Manager directly.
Our Residential Care service provides a happy and relaxing environment in which every one of our residents can benefit from all of the social aspects and elements that group living brings while still maintaining their independence thanks to an individually customised care plan for each and every resident.
Springvale Care Home’s peaceful and homelike environment is ideal for people who can generally maintain themselves during the day and night but may require additional assistance with some day-to-day tasks. Residential care is the best option for people who can live freely for the most part but might need some expert assistance on occasion. We take a holistic approach to residential care, ensuring that all of our residents’ physical, mental, and emotional needs are completely and utterly satisfied.
At Springvale Care Home, we are more than happy to provide expert, professional dementia care for all of our residents. For individuals living with dementia, our home is meant to provide a safe, caring, and welcoming atmosphere for all of our residents. Our employees have had extensive dementia training, and we really do take pride in giving the greatest levels of care and respect to each individual.
Social and mental stimulation and interaction are improved throughout their stay with us, and any frustrations and tensions associated with dementia are addressed, thanks to regular planned activities. We get to know our residents with the help of family and loved ones in order to construct an accurate picture of their lives – and to assure their continued happiness, comfort, and well-being.
Our residents at Springvale Care Home have access to nursing care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so no matter how much they need our care they can rest assured they’ll receive it promptly. Our skilled staff can care for individuals with physical limitations, those who require palliative care, or those who require higher levels of dependency, as well as those who become frail as the years progress.
Each resident will be assigned a nurse who will become a familiar face to you and your family and will answer any questions or concerns you or your family may have. In the event that a particular nurse is unavailable, another member of staff will be more than happy to look after you or your loved one.
We take a lot of joy in caring for our residents as if they were a member of our very own family, and in many ways, they really are. Everyone is part of the Springvale Care Home family, and we’re so thrilled to welcome them through our doors. All of our resident’s health, well-being, spiritual, and personal needs will be met in a warm, safe, and stimulating atmosphere that has been created with them in mind.
It’s natural to be apprehensive about change, even in the short term, and especially in this climate, but rest assured that our team is here to help you with any issues or fears you may have. We’d be delighted to welcome our residents into a home filled with love, compassion, and joy, where they can spend active, fun days and quiet evenings knowing that everything is taken care of.
