The team here at Springvale Care Home are thrilled to be able to welcome visitors and open our doors to new residents.

We fully understand that the outbreak of COVID-19 has had a difficult and overwhelming impact on the lives of everyone. We recognise just how important it is to keep our residents safe and secure and throughout the COVID-19 pandemic we have followed guidance from the Governments and local agencies to support the wellbeing of our residents, relatives and staff teams.

We will continue to work closely with our staff, residents and their loved ones to support their preferences and should there be any further outbreaks at the home, we will keep you fully updated.

Preventative Measures

Since the outbreak of Covid-19, our outstanding staff have gone above and beyond. We have put in place a whole host of additional safety measures at our facilities to ensure our residents continue to live their lives as they always have, with minimal inconvenience. All new safety measures have been designed to have as little impact as possible on our residents and their everyday lives; by making just a few adjustments to our home and the way in which we operate, we can mitigate the risk of COVID-19 in our community.

The teams at Springvale Care Home are placing high priority on the mental, emotional, and physical health needs of all residents; from keeping up-to-date with government regulations to providing guidance to all residents and their loved ones. We also want to ensure that an active social life can continue to be enjoyed by our residents, whilst maintaining high standards of infection control, and our Activities Team are doing all they can to achieve this. By utilising Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), screen dividers and sanitisation rooms, our staff are able to continue providing the outstanding care that our residents deserve.

Health, Safety and Wellbeing is a Top Priority

The health of our residents and their safety and wellbeing is a top priority for us, above all else. In response to COVID-19, we have installed a number of precautions designed to minimise infection rates, while also ensuring that our residents have a home that is as comfortable and cosy as possible.

Despite this difficult time, our highly skilled team has worked around-the-clock to be able to provide a range of COVID-19 friendly activities, to keep our residents stimulated and entertained.

Ensuring We Stay Connected

We understand that it is essential for people to have human connection and support from loved ones for their mental health and physical wellbeing, so ensuring that residents and their loved ones stay connected during these unprecedented times has never been more crucial.

At Springvale Care Home, we are fully equipped with a variety of online devices that allows our residents to video call their friends and family. Despite the challenges we’ve faced as a result of COVID-19, we’re working hard and together to overcome them and will continue to ensure everyone has multiple options that ensures they remain as connected as possible to their loved ones.
