Springvale Care Home recognises the role a great dining experience plays in making sure our residents are as happy as they can be, and our on-site chefs and catering team constantly provide a variety of meals that achieve just that.

For many of us, good food is one of the greatest enjoyments in life. Residents will find an enticing and varied menu on offer each day. Our onsite chef and his team cater for food preferences, nutritional and dietary requirements. Friends and family are welcome at any time and we have a private dining room available to host a celebration with friends and family. Our delicious meals, paired with our luxurious dining facilities, make for the perfect dining experience for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We actively encourage all of our residents to embrace all benefits that come from group living. We treasure the time we get to spend with our residents during mealtimes, as it allows us the chance to really connect with them and for them to socialise with friends. Should residents prefer to enjoy a meal alone, they are more than welcome to eat in the comfort and privacy of their own room.

Friends and family are welcome at any time; we have a private dining room available to host a celebration and enjoy the social aspect meal times can bring. Whether residents prefer to join in one of the communal dining areas, or they’d prefer to enjoy their meals in their own quarters, just know that each and every one of our guests will enjoy a mealtime, just as they like it.

Here at Springvale Care Home, we strive to ensure residents, their friends and family members are assured in knowing our experienced and friendly staff are available to provide assistance and care every day, which undoubtedly extends to meal times. All of our dining areas are clutter-free, and have specialised cutlery and crockery to help our residents maintain a high level of independence, no matter what’s on the menu.

Our on-site chef and kitchen staff receive ongoing training in order to serve nutritious and appetising meals to our residents. They work closely with our residents and pay great attention to their preferences in order to prepare delicious meals that they enjoy.

Residents have a variety of rooms available to them for dining including our communal dining room, private dining room, personal bedrooms, and if the weather permits, outside in our garden.

Yes, you will have complete control over what you eat at each meal, when you make your selection from our seasonal and varied menu. You can choose from the menus provided, or you can chat with our kitchen staff to see what alternatives they can offer in some scenarios. Our team will be pleased to discuss any special dietary requirements or menu amendments with you.
